Our Tailgate Strut is a must-have accessory for any Ranger owner for several reasons. Firstly, it offers convenience by smoothly and gently lowering the tailgate, making it easier to open and close without sudden slams or jerky movements. Additionally, the strut also enhances safety by preventing the tailgate from dropping quickly or unexpectedly, reducing the risk of injury or damage to the tailgate, vehicle, tiny human or large canine nearby.
Note: This single damper kit utilises the existing torsion bar that eliminates the need for a second strut.

We ship Australia wide utilising Australia Post & DHL. Occasionally other couriers are sourced.
In-store pickup
Our in-store pickup hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Thursday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

We offer international shipping to the following countries: New Zealand.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@piratecampco.com.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs & a 20% restocking/admin fee.
If the item has been fitted, damaged or marked in any way we will not be able to process a refund.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@piratecampco.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
