This is the maximum weight your roof can handle while you’re driving. It factors in the extra forces from braking, cornering, and acceleration. Go over this, and you risk damaging your rig or losing your load.
Static Roof Load
This is the maximum your roof can hold while parked. Usually higher than the dynamic limit, it matters when loading or unloading, or when your roof is doing “camp duty”.

Returns Policy
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs & a 20% restocking/admin fee.
If the item has been fitted, damaged or marked in any way we will not be able to process a refund.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@piratecampco.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

will this suit my soft shell RTT?
no, this has bee ndesigned for the clam shell style RTT's.
how much weight can i put on my roof & what is the load rating of the rack?
There is 2 factors to consider here, static weight & dynamic weight. Both of which you will need to consult your vehicle owners manual for exactly how much you can safely have on your vehicle. Dynamic weight, is the safe limit of weight you can have on your vehicle whilst in motion. Static weight, is the safe limit of weight you can have on your vehicle when stationry & on a level surface. The load rating of the rack far exceeds the safe weight limit set by the vehicle manufacturer, we do publicly display what the rack is capable of as we do not wnat to encourage over loading. it is our stance the rack is rated to vehilces roof load limit.
can i use this rack to tie down long items like surfboards, swags etc?
yes, however there is approx 400mm gaps between the rails, so any loose fitting bags etc could rub on your roof and scratch it.
